Research shows that
carotenoids, compounds which give fruit and vegetables their
rich colors, can provide a youthful glow to your skin as well. Research found that
the more produce people ate, the more sun-kissed their skin looked. Not only
that, but volunteers rated those people’s complexions more attractive than
those of non-veggie-eating people!
The reason? According to researchers,
carotenoid-infused skin can be a sign of reproductive health. Instead of reaching for chips and practicing pick-up lines, fill up on your leafy greens : )
